WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

For the professional expansion of our IT team, we are looking for reinforcement in full-time (40 hours per week) as soon as possible. As a Business Analyst (m/f/d), you will identify, analyze, prioritize and formulate the complex requirements for processes and IT systems at hepster from the perspective of the company and the customer, and transport these into development and IT support.

YOUR FUTURE FIELD OF ACTIVITY

• Creation and maintenance of requirements for IT systems
• Optimize the value of the work that the DEV team does
• Development of concepts together with the DEV team and the departments such as Product, Administration, Customer Facing, Support and B2B Sales as well as communication of a product vision
• Regular prioritization of epics as well as user stories taking into account the business value in cooperation with product owners
• Interface for the realization of product ideas to stakeholders in the company
• Knowledge and clear communication of customer needs and trends in the product environment
• Collaboration with our heterogeneous agile DEV teams (we work with Scrum)

YOUR SKILLS

• You have successfully completed a degree with a technical focus or obtained a comparable qualification
• You ideally already have experience as a business analyst
• Good understanding of business processes and data
• You have good knowledge in the areas of requirements elicitation, analysis and specification.
• You have a good analytical understanding
• You have experience in different methodologies of requirement engineering
• You are an organizational talent, work carefully and prioritize efficiently. Nothing gets lost with you.
• Analytical thinking and assertiveness
• You are creative and have strong communication skills
• Very good German and good English skills

WHO WE LOOK FOR

We are currently looking for a new full-time member (40 hours per week) for our IT Operations team. As a business analyst (m/f/d) you will identify, analyze, prioritize, and formulate the complex requirements for processes and IT systems from the perspective of the company and the customers of hepster and transport them to development and IT support.

YOUR FUTURE WORK TASKS

• Create and maintain the requirements for our IT systems
• Optimize the value of the work the DEV team does
• Develop new concepts together with our DEV team and other departments such as product, administration, customer support and B2B sales, as well as conveying a product vision
• Cooperation with our heterogeneous agile DEV teams (we work with Scrum)
• Prioritize the epics and user stories, considering their business value in cooperation with our product owners.
• Being the interface for the realization of product ideas to stakeholders in the company
• Knowledge and clear communication of customer needs and trends in the product environment

In addition, you qualify yourself with:

• A degree with a technical focus or a comparable qualification
• At least 2 years of experience as a business analyst
• Good understanding of business processes and data
• Good knowledge in the areas of requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification
• Ideally, you have a SCRUM certification.
• A good analytical understanding
• Experience in various methodologies of requirement engineering
