To express things skillfully, to use one’s own voice charmingly and finally to delight an audience: communication is everything.
PowerPoint Karaoke is an entertaining improvisation game where participants have to present random PowerPoint presentations without preparation. It is especially exciting for founders, as it promotes their ability to present spontaneously and convincingly – a key competence in the business world.
The game strengthens rhetorical skills and provides fun at the same time by challenging the creativity and flexibility of the participants. Founders can thus improve their ability to respond to unforeseen situations and inspire their audience – important skills to convince investors, customers and partners.

The KAPOPO Business Model
At KAPOPO you get everything you need for PowerPoint karaoke, all from one source. With a monthly paid membership, you get access to a comprehensive pool of presentations and many additional game features.
Current Milestones
After the startup successfully completed the product development, the first long-term lead customers were acquired. This completed the important milestone of realizing a technically flawless web application and opening it to the market.
With the online launch of the website, the product is currently being made known to the launched target groups with increasing marketing activity – in particular, the startup is already implementing an internationalization strategy.
Thus, influencer marketing and social media videos are the focus.
A success for us is also anyone who tries it out, has fun with our presentations and services in the group and has accepted the challenge.
And finally, of course, every booking and everyone who renews their monthly membership, as well as the many positive feedbacks.

This motivates us and gives us the opportunity to continue working on it and thus further develop ourselves.

Gründungshinweis
We are a team of 3 people and together with another silent partner, we founded KAPOPO UG in December 2023. Christoph Burkhardt is the managing director of KAPOPO UG, Daniel Hammer is a frontend and backend developer, and Tom Sievert is responsible for building and maintaining business relationships in the B2B sector.
Many more tasks are divided among them and are completed equally by all. The three have already known each other from previous jobs and from an idea, a first version of the website was created in 2014. This has continuously developed and become more well-known over the years. With the founding of the company and the introduction of a paid membership, we can also invest our energy in further development in the future.

Professionally, the three are still working in other companies and jobs. Daniel Hammer and Christoph Burkhardt operate SNDG.Media GbR as a web and advertising agency. Tom Sievert is currently employed full-time by the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Tourism Association.
