ESB Invest is an early-stage investor from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, focusing on startups in the areas of health, bioeconomy, agriculture, sustainability, and digital, and making investments between 100,000 and 300,000 euros.

In addition to financial support, ESB Invest offers strategic consulting, network access and operational support to accelerate the growth and scaling of startups. The investment focus is on sustainable and forward-looking business models with high innovation potential.

What needs to be done to receive an investment from ESB Invest?

To receive an investment from ESB Invest, founders should consider the following steps:

Prepare business documents: Create a meaningful pitch deck and a first business plan for your startup. These documents help ESB Invest better understand and review your business idea and economic plan.
Make early contact: It is advantageous to contact ESB Invest at an early stage of your project, ideally before you officially establish your company. This allows for an early discussion of your business idea and the establishment of a good relationship with the founding team.
Submit documents: Send your pitch deck as a PDF by email to hallo@esb.vc. ESB Invest will review your presentation and provide you with initial feedback in a timely manner.
Investment process: The period between the first contact and the contract signing is usually around 2 to 3 months, depending on the preparation and data basis of the startup.

ESB Invest is a venture capital provider based in Greifswald, founded in 2021. The management team of ESB Invest consists of the two managing directors Maximilian Block and Veit Axmann.
