Grinol - Fuel of the next generation
Grinol is an innovative company that produces sustainable second-generation biofuels by converting biogenic waste into climate-neutral energy
Through their patented Bio Activated Fuel (BAF) process, they produce climate-neutral fuels from biogenic waste materials. This process enables the production of second-generation biofuels that do not compete with food production.
The BAF process consists of two main steps: Pyrolysis: Biomass is converted into biochar and pyrolysis gas in a pyrolysis furnace at controlled temperatures (450-500°C).
This step minimizes the formation of tar and emissions. BAF reactor: The generated pyrolysis gas reacts with a hot residual oil in a BAF reactor. The result is a condensed product that is divided into oil and diesel-water components. The remaining gas fraction is converted into electrical energy and heat in a combined heat and power plant.
This technology offers several advantages over pure pyrolysis, including improved gas purification and the production of a more stable, storable diesel component with higher energy content. Grinol GmbH offers research and development services, as well as planning and plant construction in the field of sustainable energy generation, in addition to fuel production.
Grinol GmbH offers a range of products and services in the field of sustainable biofuels. Its main product is a climate-neutral biofuel produced from biogenic waste materials using its patented Bio Activated Fuel (BAF) process.
In addition, Grinol offers research and development services as well as planning and plant construction for sustainable energy projects.
