Founded by a former triathlete, Nut time stands for conscious, natural nutrition and combines northern German quality with sustainable production – ideal for connoisseurs and athletes who value healthy, regional products.

The production of Nusszeit takes place in a small manufactory in Raben Steinfeld, near Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, where the products are manufactured in a craftsmanship production.

Instead of industrial mass production, Nusszeit relies on traditional roasting methods: The selected nuts and seeds are gently roasted in coconut oil, sweetened with agave syrup, and refined with a hint of real vanilla. Getreide, artificial additives, and refined sugar are consciously avoided to offer a natural and healthy alternative to conventional muesli.

Thanks to the high quality and unique taste, the products are enjoying growing popularity, and the fan base now extends even to the USA.

A special feature of Nusszeit is the sustainable and ecological production method, which uses regional ingredients. For example, Robert von Leesen works with local walnut producers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients.

The Nusszeit team consists of dedicated individuals who passionately and devotedly produce high-quality, grain-free organic nut mueslis.

The team is led by Robert von Leesen, the founder and creative head of the company. He is responsible for building production, corporate design, and customer communication.

He is supported by Sabrina, who works in the back office and takes care of accounting, recipe refinement, and quality control. Additionally, Nusszeit offers young people the opportunity to complete a Voluntary Ecological Year (FÖJ) in the manufactory to gain insights into production and sustainable food manufacturing.

An example of this is Sara, who chose to do an FÖJ at Nusszeit in order to work in an organic company with a regional connection.
