Together with Luisa-Maria Wendt (DIZ Rostock) and Martin French (Wirtschaftsförderung Landkreis Rostock), our StartUp-Factory MV had a day-long excursion to the founding centers in the greater Copenhagen area – Emotionally speaking right away: Damn, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is well received everywhere – despite political uncertainty.
The current development of our scene and infrastructure has the potential to improve the conditions for our StartUps by orders of magnitude. But Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can also be a springboard to Germany for StartUps from the north.

We also visited the NIRAS Green Tech Hub with Sophie Ryle Bech and the DTU Skylab with Kristine Garde & Mirwais Fedai, gaining intense insights into the work of the startup ecosystem in Denmark.
Central result: There are incredibly many points of contact and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has a location advantage due to its outstanding location on the Baltic Sea. We will take advantage of this!
