FoundersBay

The accelerator on the island of Rügen supports startups in the fields of sustainability, travel tech, new work and mobility.

The six-month accelerator program promotes, empowers and supports teams to successfully bring startup ideas to market success. The essential components of the offer are free office space directly on the beach on the island of Rügen, an individual coaching & mentoring program, access to investors and a diverse, nationwide network.

In addition, FoundersBay is a member of Gründungswerft, the StartUp community of the whole of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. 

Philosophy of the StartUp Accelerator

During the six-month program, the prospective founders work closely with the FoundersBay team to identify innovative services and technologies, shape product ideas until they are ready for the market, analyze the best startups and look for investors for promising business models.

Building blocks

Participants receive support from all over Germany on the island of Rügen. The program contains building blocks that together comprise a structured path to successful completion.

1. Workshops
   A large portfolio of mentors and know-how carriers for optimal support.
2. Workation
   Everything under one roof: living, working and living and that directly on Rügen.
   
3. Network
   Keynotes, events and coaching from our experienced mentors and experts.
4. Investors
   Intros to Business Angels, VC's & institutional investors. Individual shortlist with matching funders and contacts.
   

Application and general conditions

A total of six teams per batch can apply to the Accelerator. The program is free of charge, all company shares remain with the founders. The application process is divided into two steps: Registration/Proposal and Pitch.
