Heading towards establishment
‘SET SAIL!’ has been the annual business plan competition since 2023, allowing solo entrepreneurs and startup teams from all colleges and universities in the state to participate with their business concepts. The competition is organized by the intercollegiate startup initiative ‘Stapellauf NORD°OST°.’
Participation enables business concepts to compete in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern’s most innovative entrepreneur contest. With expert support, business ideas can be developed for a successful market entry, laying an important foundation for potential business financing. Winners can expect attractive prizes.
Participate and launch
Students, doctoral candidates, researchers, or employees of universities or non-university research institutions in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern can apply. Graduates also have the opportunity to register for the competition up to 5 years after their graduation.
The focus is on presenting a comprehensive overview of the financial, technical, and organizational implementation of a business concept. The submitted business plans will be reviewed and evaluated by experienced practitioners. Through expert feedback, workshops, and connections to network partners, all participants benefit right from the start.
