The foodfans GmbH produces and distributes gourmet products—foods, beverages, and accessories related to kitchen, tableware, and BBQ with a WOW factor. B2C sales occur through their proprietary online shop (www.foodfans.world) and marketplaces such as Amazon. Selected products for B2B purposes are sold through specialized retailers, retailers, and distributors.
Story of the two founders
The founding team, Heidelinde and Oliver Görlich, share a passion for fine dining, great drinks, and exceptional designs. What started as an idea to sell wine in China evolved into more than just a hobby. After many years in Spain, the founders returned to Germany to establish foodfans.
Currently, over 1,000 products are available B2C, with the assortment soon expanding to over 2,000 products. Some of these items include in-house product developments under their own brands. Additionally, there are other brands and products exclusively distributed by foodfans in the German market, extending into B2B channels as well.
Founders’ Note
The infrastructure has been established to scale revenues effectively. An established ERP system seamlessly manages sales through the proprietary online shop and marketplaces in a fully automated manner. Logistic partners are integrated to handle automated fulfillment. Additional products could expand the range, with new warehouse locations being integrated domestically and internationally.
